Half day Bookkeeper - Shongweni (Hillcrest)

Amazing opportunity exists for a company based in Shongweni (Hillcrest), for a half day bookkeeper who has had extensive bookkeeping to Trial balance experience (Preferably Sage Accounting) and payroll experience (preferably Sage Payroll). Must also be willing and capable to handle general administration and Personal Assistant duties. Own transport is essential in order to run errands. Duties & Responsibilities Accounts
Cashbook processing for 4 entities
Creditors processing and reconciling for 4 entities
Debtors processing and reconciling for 4 entities
Daily and weekly banking for all entities
Managing cashflow and debit orders
Filing of all receipts and invoices
Monthly invoicing
Communicating with maintenance manager regarding jobs/projects
Managing job cards/work completed by maintenance staff
Monthly payroll
EMP201’s and EMP501’s
Vat for all entities
Keeping track of monthly expenses and timeous payments
Reconciling loan accounts across all entities
Completing year-end journal entries
Corresponding with external accountant
All accounting to Trial Balance and preparation for audit
General Admin Duties
Manage emails and telephone calls
Travel arrangements – business and personal
Vehicle license renewals and record keeping – personal and family
EAAB FFC renewals the director and the company
Management of Director’s CPD points on portal
Home staff salaries and leave
First contact point for tenants
All insurance matters
AGMs and Trustee meetings – organise, minutes, etc.
Manage lease expiry/renewals diary
Assisting with sale and lease agreements as required
Liaise with conveyancers and lawyers on all property related matters/documents required
Manage Ethekwini municipality accounts
General errands relating to Ivor and the family
Collation of all documents and information within business
Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum 5 years bookkeeping to trail balance experience Sage accounting and Sage payroll Preferred MS Office – Non negotiable SharePoint - Advantage Must live in the Highway area
Package & Remuneration Negotiable depending on experience
