Exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing Manager with Retail / Shopping Centre management experience to handle the full marketing function, assuming responsibility to meet agreed marketing / sales / foot count targets and standards within the centre. Initiate and implement marketing strategies, working closely with centre management and add value to the centre. Marketing qualification and minimum of 5 years relevant expereince is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and communications.
Oversee brand positioning and identity development.
Monitor brand perception and adjust strategies as needed.
Conceptualize and propose Marketing Strategy for the Mall.
Managing and controlling annual marketing budget.
Event and campaign coordination (conceptualizing events, oversee plans and budgets, liaison with suppliers).
Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, etc.).
Oversee and generate briefs to agencies.
Pursue relevant strategic alliances and sponsorship opportunities (internal and external).
Tenant collaboration on event and campaigns.
Ensure tenant exposure through relevant platforms.
Approves quotes, creative work and schedules of agencies.
Approval of invoices / creditors to be paid.
Preparation and quality control of monthly marketing report.
Report to co-owners where applicable.
Manage and update Google Business profile.
Manage website updates.
Manage iPoint updates.
Manage communications with digital agencies.
Managing monthly social media strategy on the following platforms: Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook pages.
Social Media Giveaways/ Tenants.
Monitor for and oversee social media enquiries / complaints/ reviews. Resolution and feedback.
Attends to public queries / complaints/ security issues that were escalated to this level.
Crisis and general communication with tenants/ shoppers/ online.
Manage tenant Whatsapp group.
Liaise with press as need be.
Book and Monitor exhibitors (to conform to required standards).
Manage exhibition court space schedule, ensuring monthly targets are met.
Signature of lease agreements, creating invoices, ensuring POP’s received.
Recon of court account.
Manage and co-ordinate internal & external advertising suppliers.
Monthly schedules received, invoices raised, payments received, contracts in place.
Ensures cooperation, synergy and effective communication between marketing and other departments.
Manage and co-ordinate Mall CSR, including charities, schools, local initiatives, upliftment programs etc (both sponsored or hosted).
CSR reporting to CSR team.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a shopping mall
Tertiary qualification essential - B.Com / IMM Marketing
Package & Remuneration
Negotiable depending on experience
